Responsible for the communications, cable specification, layout and installation between conveyor controls, product scanners and Allen-Bradley programmable controller. Specifications included A-B Data Highway, RS488, S422, and RS232-C (V.90). Some programming at Assembly Level was required to integrate unique UPC Bar code reader equipment into system.

Kaman Dayron Fuze division in Orlando Florida, I was responsible for the
complete design of their electronic FZU Test program. Some Unique designs
included a semi-automated, simulated Wind Tunnel, instrumented to test In
Process and Lot Acceptance (LAT) functionality of the FZU48 and FZU55 Bomb Fuze wind powered generator. Other assignments included the electrical design with full documentation of a 48-station rotary Index assembly machine. Collaborated with mechanical design personnel on selection of instrumentation and limit
sensors. Automation implemented using the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 with two
thirteen slot modular chassis. Inline inspection was implemented using eight
Keyence Vision systems providing total inline quality assurance. Electrical
design was completed on time and at budget.
