Related Maintenance Experience:
I have read, interpreted, and made suggested changes to Army Technical manuals. I gathered, analyzed, and interpreted operational data. With over 20 years of army maintenance experience I am familiar with most aspects of army maintenance procedures in garrison and field environments. I have assembled, installed, operated, maintenance, modified and tested mechanical components and equipment. I have set up and operated army test equipment and diagnostic devices as an aid to troubleshooting maintenance problems on army equipment. I have a background in drafting and blueprint reading. My duties also had me testing, recording, and reporting results on equipment and components. I have designed my own bench test devices to aid in the trouble shooting process of components. I am familiar with the corrosive paint & repair program for the army. I am willing to cross train in any other skill to help me accomplish the company¡¦s goals and objectives.

Specific Maintenance Experience:

Electrical systems (I am skilled in reading wiring diagrams & schematics). Trained as a power generator mechanic I was trained in electrical systems, electronic controlled electrical systems or computerized controls, reading wiring diagrams & schematics. I am a skilled electrical troubleshooter.

Armaments systems & Sighting systems: I have extensive training and experience in turreted controls & operations. This includes the sighting systems & armaments & fire controls of turreted mounted weapons.

On Board safety & Fire Suppression Systems: I have experience troubleshooting safety systems like ¡§No Fire¡¨ zones for weapon systems, and the maintenance of HALON fire suppression systems.

Engines: I have extensive experience with all types of internal combustion engines such as spark ignition and compression ignition engines. My experience includes servicing, adjusting, repairing, troubleshooting, and rebuilding. I am also trained on turbine engines.

Transmissions, I have experience with many types of transmissions and drive trains.

Power Generators/ Auxiliary Power Units, I have experience on power generators from 3kw to 250 KW generators, APU¡¦s on many types of equipment. I have operated and maintained this equipment. I have operated this equipment in shop and in field locations.

Hydraulic systems: I have extensive training in the theory, operations, troubleshooting procedures & use of special tools, and servicing hydraulic systems.

Air Conditioning: I have extensive training in air conditioning system theory, operations, servicing & repair.

Use & care of Hand tools, proper storage, use and care of hand tools. I have a great deal of experience with precision test equipment and measuring devices.

Troubling shooting procedures: I have extensive training just to mention a few (Power generation school, 4 month Warrant officer training course, 6 week electrical trouble shooting course on the M2/M3 Bradley fighting vehicle.)

Military trained instructor. I became a military trained instructor as part of my drill sergeant training. I also taught part time in an automotive service program for Central Texas College. I am currently a certified Math Teacher.
