Develop creative design point of view to support
business needs and oversee creative designs from
concept through production for the Girls/Tween
business. Working closely to ensure that Disney
brand standards are consistent and adhered to.
Provide licensees with consistent design direction
throughout each phase of design and development.

Director of Packaging
Disney Store, Pasadena 2007-2008

Responsible for design and production of all
packaging materials for Disney Store products
(toys, apparel, home dιcor, soft and hard lines).
Directed a 10+ person in-house creative team
comprising designers, structural engineers,
copywriter & photographer, and a 6-person
production team in Hong Kong. Worked closely
with overseas vendors (China, HK) to facilitate
production and improve quality of packaging.

Key accomplishments:
• Integrated Packaging Team into earliest stages of
product design, and initiated weekly cross-
functional meetings to maintain packaging as an
integral part of product development.
• Introduced substantial cost saving efficiencies by
nominating print packaging vendors that improved
quality and structural integrity.
• Initiated eco-friendly packaging program, in
response to awareness of consumer trends
• Balanced adherence to style guidelines with
providing innovation to Disney brand standards,
e.g. Princess Core doll packaging was re-designed
to allow expanded display of outfits and
accessories to incorporate story play.
• Promoted packaging as an integral component of
final product, contributing to increased consumer
appeal.
• Managed over 300 SKUs per quarter Disney
Franchise Board stated marked improvement in
quality and creativity of all packaging over previous
12 months.
