Manufacturing / Development Engineer (8/96-1/99) Responsible for the New Product Introduction of (3) major accounts including Dell, Compaq, and HP. Responsible for managing (2) Industrial Engineers and the ATS (Auxiliary Technical Support) department, which served an engineering and maintenance support function to the assembly department. The ATS staff maintained all secondary equipment throughout the plant and performed the research and development (R&D) as needed for all new projects requiring any secondary equipment or automation. Developed line layouts, performed time studies, specified automated equipment and designed and built secondary machines and fixtures. Assisted in the successful start-up of the Texas facility and the integration of sheet metal stamping with plastic mold injection processes for several projects.
