Objective:

Experience:
I graduate of an accredited Medical Billing and Coding Program. While in college I gained valuable knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, UB-04’s, CMS-1500’s, ICD-9-CM and CPT coding. I am proficient in using a variety of software including but not limited to: Microsoft office, STAR, PHS, Passport, MARS, Medware, and Mysis Medic B and Vision (GUI). I currently type 70 words per minute with 100% accuracy and my 10-key by touch speed is 13144 keystrokes per hour. I have obtained my HIPPA training certificate.

Responsible for the computerized scheduling of all ambulatory care procedures and test scheduling within the system which includes Radiology, Cardiology/Neurology, Mammography, Audiology, Perinatal Center, Center for Dizziness and Balance Disorders, Nutritional Counseling, Financial Counseling, Beginning Steps, PFT, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab. Responsible for filing and pulling medical records using an alpha/numeric system, made new charts for new patients. Responsible for microfilming aged records. Responsible for releasing records to doctors, lawyers and other external customers.
