Type of Position: Full-Time Permanent Availability Date: June 2009
Desired Wage:
U.S. Work Authorization: Yes
Job Level: New Grad/Entry Level Willing to Travel:

Objective:
I will graduate in May and hoping to obtain a counseling position. I will begin working towards a masters degree in education in June of 2009 and will obtain a masters degree in April of 2010.

My desire to help others and give back to the community is growing immensely. I have a strong desire to learn as well as a passion to take in every experience and opportunity available. I am extremely blessed because my family has instilled the values and morals in me as well as continuing to offer me the love and support I need to succeed. I am committed and disciplined which is shown by my effort inside and outside the classroom.

I am currently an undergraduate student at Morningside College and will complete my Bachelor of Arts degree in counseling psychology; religious studies; and music in May. Some people struggle to complete a major in four years of college however I will complete three majors in four years. My cumulative grade point average is a 3.6. I set very high goals for myself and never quit anything I start.

I have a proven record of leadership and dependability on campus and in the community. Morningside College started a Leadership Academy two years ago and I was hired to be one of two student facilitators of the program.

Leadership is very important to me which is another reason I am pursuing a masters degree. I give 100% to everything that I do. While attending college full time, I also work 20 or more hours each week, and volunteer regularly by leading music at church and working with thirty or more organizations in the area. Learning how to manage my time effectively makes all of these activities possible. I enjoy being busy and challenging myself.
