Currently serving in the position of Information Management Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) with an area of responsibility covering military installations in the country of Kuwait. U.S. ARMY, 171st AREA SUPPORT GROUP, Garner, North Carolina March 2005 – March 2007
Served as the Information Systems Chief with area of responsibility covering the state of North Carolina. Performed as a System Administrator with additional appointed duties as the Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) and Combat Service Support Automation Management Office (CSSAMO). Involved with the procurement of new automation systems for the group and three separate battalions. Provide information systems management and technical assistance to 100 to 300 end-users. Served as a Team Leader for the Standard Installation/Division Personnel Systems (SIDPERS-3) help desk. Responsible for providing telephonic and on site assistance to 49 Personnel Automation Sections worldwide. Evaluated, investigated and coordinated with Department of the Army staff level organizations the resolution of systemic and individual problems related to the transfer and update of data to Headquarters Personnel Information Systems. Recommended and developed functional changes to automated and personnel systems used to manage soldiers worldwide. Assisted in all phases of the development, planning and fielding of new hardware and software for the US Army. Also performed additional duties as System Administrator for the Software Development Center-Washington for Software Qualification Tests, and Assistant Division Information Management Officer for the Field Systems Directorate.
