As a global bank, it is able to handle the most complicated cross-border transactions, yet it also understands the subtleties of local markets. The project is ABN Amros Access Online Portal. This is the channel thru which the corporate clients of ABN AMRO access the functionality of corporate banking. It is divided into 3 modules a) NUA new user administration The corporate users can use this module for creating new users, authorize or revoke access to existing users, delete the non existent users. b) OPP Online payment and processing This module basically helps corporate customers to make and receive payments. c) PBT Portal Balance and Transaction reporting One corporate customer can have more than one account with the bank. This provides the facility for checking each accounts balance and look into all the transactions for each corporate account.
Responsibilities: Architected and designed OPP module. Designed the service layer api achieving reusability and extensibility. The content on Motorola.com is managed using Vignette Content Management Application (V7). Motorola.com spans across 34 countries and many constituencies within each country. Motorola.com displays content in each country in its locale. Locale is a combination of each country and languages spoken in that country. Each country and constituency has different content to be displayed for their stake holders. This project encompasses the production support of Motorola.com for managing its content.
Vignette content Management (V7) Application is used for managing the content. The display is made out of V6 (Content Display Application). The system architecture is a hybrid of V6 and V7 for management and display of Content. Web server (Apache is used for displaying). The web pages are cached using V6 caching feature. Also the images are Akamaized in each region for performance reasons. The V6 CDS uses BEA Weblogic 8.1 for parsing the V6 display JSP templates. The content is stored in the Oracle database and the static files are stored in the file system.

The Application validates the customer and allows the agent to which the customer has called to attend to requests/ Complains like sending a checkbook, sending a mini or a complete statement online, checking the customers accounts and many more functionalities pertaining to the Bank. BCI is both into corporate and retail banking. The application has support for both Corporate and retail customers. A pick of design patterns has been used to ensure a robust and a scalable application. It uses Infrex a tool to define and manage business rules for the applications. A composite solution comprising the following has been developed and delivered A user-friendly web-based system for the call-center agents. A customer folder which appears after validating the rut (local Social Security Number for the residents of Chile) Different features like Customer Information, Credit Cards, Red Banc Card, Cheque-books etc. The project uses Bea Weblogic 8.1 workshop as an IDE for development (generation of pageflows, EJBs, Jsps using struts validations). The application has been designed to provide the best performance complying to the core J2EE design patterns (Singleton Factory, Abstract Factory, Session Faηade, Service Locator). This project is an effort to expose an interface to this application using BEA WebLogic Web Services so that all the employees of Pfizer across the globe can access this application. This implementation would provide highly efficient and easily manageable application to all the Pfizer employees across the globe. This implementation would also be helpful in integrating HPIES with some other applications. The system uses JCA (Java Connector Architecture) for connecting the J2EE server with the EIS (OPC). The middleware consists of BPMs (Business Process Models) or workflows designed in Weblogic Integrator 2.1 to cater to the business logic part of the application.
