1986 – 2008 SUPERVALU, INC. Easton, Pennsylvania National grocery and general merchandise wholesaler and retailer
Accountant (2003 - May 2008)
- Managed Accounts Receivables for wholesale general merchandise division with annual receivables of $1.7M. - Managed all aspects of $23M in fixed assets from procurement to retirement. - Prepared yearly budget for depreciation expense. - Prepared weekly and monthly journal entries; reconciled and analyzed various general ledger accounts. - Processed expense invoices for all division departments. - Reconciled inter-company product transfers to assure accuracy. - Provided detail reports to region and home office for payment to retailers using Doc-View and Monarch software to isolate information needed to calculate payments. - Processed return freight invoices to assure accurate inventory control. - Implemented procedures to insure the division was in compliance with the corporate SOX requirements.
Account Receivable Supervisor (1994-2003)
