Experience:
I am currently working as a Shift Supervisor at DAP. And last year I was a loan officer.
My real skill and experience was at Kennecott, where I have over fifteen years experience in the mining industry, as a technical, operational and maintenance supervisor. I supervised groups, from ten to thirty people. Most recently in the Mine Technical group as the ore control manager.
As the ore control manager, I was responsible for quality control for the entire open pit mine determining the economic value either ore or waste, making $10,000’s decisions at a time. I was responsible for all safety, company compliance and environmental training.
I have a B S from the University of Utah in Geography. I have good computer skills. I attended numerous company sponsored training classes, workshops, and seminars. I have personnel management, organizational, administrative; I have people skills.
I am regarded as approachable, business-like, dependable, sensible, honest, having a good hard working attitude, I show up, and I’m very punctual.
I treat people fairly, with dignity and respect. My approach to management is direct, no nonsense, and business-like. I give expectations, reward success and hold failures accountable.
