Objective: Strategically focused, visionary and leader with proven results who has the ability to manage bottom line without negative impact to client base through sound expense management and revenue focus. Responsible for all aspects of financial related activities. Built and led highly productive teams while promoting an environment of employee involvement, commitment and growth.
Experience: Since 2006, I have been working as an independent consultant. This opportunity has allowed me to enhance my skills, while exposing me to new challenges. As a consultant, I have developed a revised strategy to market ancillary services to the TPA industry. I was instrumental in the development of strong financial controls, reporting and testing for a major insurer’s new claims paying system.
In my role as a CFO for one of the industry’s leading TPA’s, I had the opportunity to develop successful working relationships within all levels of the organization. In addition to the responsibilities normally associated with a CFO position, I influenced operational and financial results through my leadership in expense management, process improvement and strategic planning.
In my tenure with Coresource, I gained the experience of working in a changing environment as it grew from a small 50 million dollar TPA to one of the largest, at 150 million dollars in revenues. While a member of the senior management team, I led the development and implementation of our acquisition growth strategy; as a result, acquisition activity accounted for 50 percent of the company growth.
Currently, I am exploring more challenging career possibilities in the Chicago area. At your convenience, I would like to schedule a brief meeting to discuss mutually beneficial opportunities. I can be reached at 224-659-6477 or by email at dgbergman@aol.com
