Objective: To continue to be successful in my career, utilize my leadership abilities, learn a new trade, expression through my creative talents and opportunities to think outside of the box.
As a former business owner I understand the importance of cross-training in-order to be successful. I am willing to plant my roots in an entry-level position and continue my growth within an organization!!!! For it is my belief that seeds organize the process that generate growth and through growth all possibilities emerge.
Experience: EXPERIENCE 2003-Present Co-Owner BioMax Medical Solutions, Inc. Overview Originally my part-time role as a silent partner was to provide administrative support via book-keeping, billing, and other related clerical duties. One month into the operation I identified that there was an opportunity to create a niche in the regulated industry that we served. An industry that was deficient in professionalism, credibility, consistency ;furthermore, failed to deliver responsive and reliable services. I created a Business Model to grow the family business from a customer base of 40 to a Corporation with a current customer base of 213.
GOAL To attain the visibility required to be identified as the experts and industry leaders in the delivery of biomedical waste removal services.
Challenge Develop a standardized and cost effective operating procedure for the consistent delivery of services.
Action -Coordinated a Logistics Program, in con-junction with a Service Delivery Model that ensured the replication of quality services and standards. -Designed and customized a user friendly Bill of Lading to be utilized at point of service and support our clients in their regulatory obligations. Created a database that profiled both prospective and current client needs/concerns. -Evaluated and reconstructed current contract delivery methods, new account acquisitions, and account set-up procedures. -Streamlined accounts receivable to maximize cash flow -Assisted in the creation of an education tool for both our current consumers and staff on the regulatory mandates that we are all to follow to reduce the spread of infection and decrease the number of Healthcare Associated Costs.
Results -Expanded service area from one to 7 counties -Minimized the distance and time spent between the servicing of accounts from 30-45 minutes to 15 minutes. -Creation of a Concentric Circle Sales Strategy for future growth and development. -Simplified the D.O.H. inspection process for both our clients and local D.O.H. reps. -Fostered reputation with local D.O.H. representatives, "That if you are doing business with BioMax that you are doing things correctly".-William Bongiovanni, Pinellas County -Reduced the time to set up a new account from 4 hours to 1.5 hours, increased the initial set-up service fee from $75 to $150, and expanded new client product sales by 80%. -Converted 80% of client base to pay via automatic monthly debit, 10% to prepay for their services in advance and reduced the number of invoices in aging of 30 days by 95% -Cut operating costs from Fiscal Year 2005 to 2007 by 25%
Challenge Leverage and position our company to be the brand name in the Tampa Bay Market. Moreover, alter the perceived image of the medical waste industry from that of trash collectors to Medical Waste Consultants. Action -Designed and trademarked our corporate Logo -Revamped current marketing materials to create a "clean" and crisp corporate image -Implemented first ever (to the industry) quarterly direct-mail marketing campaign compiled from the public information in the State of Florida Registered Generator database. -Established first ever D.O.H. reviewed On-Line, Adult Distance Learning Program on the annual and mandated training, FAC 64E-16. -Coordinated a One-Stop Shopping experience for the resale of additional goods and services during the monthly point of service. To include the following: 12 month Service Calendar for customers' review, PDF of 4 New Service Plans for customers to choose from, E-Commerce, Training, FAQ's on federal/state mandates, Discount/Coupon Program.Customer Feedback Form and automated forms to streamline both new and current customer information (www.biomaxsolutions.com) -Assisted with the campaign to be the first local biomedical waste company to provide OSHA training to both the medical and dental industry. -Initiated the creation four New Levels of Service for the consumer to choose from different than the current industry practice of one. -Designed and distributed to current client base a brochure of additional Healthcare Products for resale upon point of service. Results -6 out of 10 new clients prepaid for their annual service Delivered a product sales increase by 20% within a one year period. -Captured a 10% return on directing mailing campaign. Thus, adding a total of 10 new clients a month worth an aggregate of $109,000 over the 2 year service agreement term. -Improved administrative productivity and efficiency with the automation of routine tasks. -Generated an additional $4,500.00 in training revenues within 5 months. -Increased revenues from Fiscal Year 05'-07' by 44% from $49,863.04 to $112,773.78
