Objective:

Wireless Deployment Engineer for start-up companies that installed, monitored and upgraded broadband wireless networks. 3GCT focused on International and NexGen Tech targeted North America partners to deploy broadband wireless systems for residential and business customers. Duties consisted of mounting antennas, running cables, configuring and engineering wireless last mile and/or P2P solutions. Deployed three wireless networks while working for NexGen Tech. Traveled internationally to establish contacts with local business people, local government officials, and in-country US Government Officials while working for 3GCT. Deployed one wireless system for demonstration.

• Wireless technical manager that supervised teams that installed/managed the software and hardware for over 200 cells, various types of mobile phones, networks that connected cells to collocate/non-collocated switching systems in Illinois and New Jersey locations, system administration team that maintained latest software and hardware on lab computers, general 24x7 hardware and software help desk service for Lucent’s test facilities, inventory for Lucent’s test facilities, budget for contractors helping with installation and operations of Lucent test facilities and developed processes for maintaining/delivering products to the customers that used TDMA/CDMA/GSM test facilities for development, testing and troubleshooting field problems.

Formed and led lab user meetings across Lucent Business Units in Illinois and New Jersey. Maintained cost analysis and lab Budget for the test models. Coordinated activities during lab blitz sessions, accelerate installation schedules, and normal software installations/hardware installations. Provided daily installations of hardware/software, routine maintenance and support of Il test models along with general 24x7 help desk support for test models in Il.
