Responsible for cost, delivery and quality of recycled PET products. Supervise 6 direct reports with a total of 65 employees. Implemented inventory controls and company measurements to measure productivity and cost of production. Began daily status meetings with supervisors and planning departments, set up cross training methods and set production goals based on plant capacities. Techniques used for achievements were lean manufacturing, division into teams, employee empowerment, communication/status meetings, cross training, visual status boards with daily goals for production and shipping.
