Additional Information: Professional Experience Dec. 18, 2001 - Dec. 18, 2007 United States Air Force, Grand Forks AFB, ND Assistant Flying Crew Chief -Perform pre/postflight inspections on the KC-135 R/T to include air and oil/hydraulic fluid servicing, window cleaning, checking tire pressure. -Extensive knowledge on KC-135R/T launch/recovery operations, including aircrew walk arounds pre/post flight. - Supervise teams with as many as 7 members often being the highest ranking person on shift do to high deployment rates. -Assigned to aircraft wash rack for the month of Dec. 2002, washing aircraft and lubricating jackscrews, zirk fittings and all other components requiring lube or grease. -Assisted numerous times troubleshooting inoperative boom signal coils and other boom deficiencies. -Assisted in engine overhauls, replacing delaminated acoustical panels, starter valves and other engine components. -Discovered and replaced several missing hinge bolt hardware after several aircrews noticed excessive vibration in ailerons -Volunteered to assisted under-manned Aero Repair shop with numerous aileron repair/rig jobs when the flight line had a light workload. - Assigned to phase dock numerous times with the last being may 2007 performing more in depth maintenance removing talley motors and completing all other scheduled maintenance.
