Objective:
To find a job I enjoy working with aircraft in a fun environment. Finding
something to challenge myself while incorporating what I have learned the
past 6 years as a Crew Chief in the U.S Air Force


Experience:
Maintains aircraft, aerospace ground support equipment, forms, and records.
Troubleshoots and maintains aircraft structures, systems, components, and
related equipment. Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts
functional tests of repaired components and systems. Adjusts, aligns and
rigs aircraft systems. Jacks, tows, and services aircraft. Performs
inspections or aircraft structures and system components. Checks components
for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation. Inspect and
identifies aircraft corrosion for prevention and correction. Monitors and
maintains aircraft automated maintenance data systems, aircraft forms
/records, aircraft technical data reports. Responsible for assigned -21and
alternate mission equipment. Ensures hazardous materials and wastes are
handled and disposed of according to environmental standards.

-Attended Technical Training at Sheppard Air Force Base from Mar, 2002 -
Jul. 2002 going over the basics of Aircraft Maintenance.
-Attended phase I/II of MQTP 15 Sep.2002-25 Dec. 2002 for a more in depth
training experience.
-Attended Airman Leadership School from MAR/JUN 2005 learning leadership
and managerial skills.

Assistant Flying Crew Chief
-Perform pre/postflight inspections on the KC-135 R/T to include air and
oil/hydraulic fluid servicing, window cleaning, checking tire pressure.
-Extensive knowledge on KC-135R/T launch/recovery operations, including
aircrew walk arounds pre/post flight.
- Supervise teams with as many as 7 members often being the highest ranking
person on shift do to high deployment rates.
-Assigned to aircraft wash rack for the month of Dec. 2002, washing
aircraft and lubricating jackscrews, zirk fittings and all other components
requiring lube or grease.
-Assisted numerous times troubleshooting inoperative boom signal coils and
other boom deficiencies.
-Assisted in engine overhauls, replacing delaminated acoustical panels,
starter valves and other engine components.
-Discovered and replaced several missing hinge bolt hardware after several
aircrews noticed excessive vibration in ailerons
-Volunteered to assisted under-manned Aero Repair shop with numerous
aileron repair/rig jobs when the flight line had a light workload.
- Assigned to phase dock numerous times with the last being may 2007
performing more in depth maintenance removing talley motors and completing
all other scheduled maintenance.
