• Evaluated, upgraded, and implemented Oracle BI version 10.1.3.2.1 Software Package from the previous software version at DIA, Siebel Analytics 7.8. Project Areas include: DAC Administration - Configured Custom Execution Plans, Subject Areas, Table Groups, Task Definitions/Informatica SDE/SIL Workflow Tasks, Slowly Changing Dimensions, new business features provided to the end users, version changes in required software components, new Oracle Components and Services, increased formatting capability with the new Oracle BI Publisher component, and new configured parameters for improved performance and scalability. One area specifically addressed at DIA is the software security aspect of the Oracle BI Package, and its ability to function within network, hardware, and software security DIA mandated guidelines.

2/07– 10/1/07 Analytics Architect at America Red Cross Washington, DC.
• Large-scale Data Warehouse Project on OBI EE 10.1/Siebel Analytics 7.8.5. Designed the Data Warehouse and created Proof of Concept (POC) modeling and implemented delivery using an iterative approach.
• Server Admin: Configured the DAC Server, Analytics Web Server, and Informatica Repository Server.
• Requirements: gap analysis, User and Software Reqs. Review, Critical Design Reviews (CDR).
• Produced Analytics Design Document and Configured Star Schemas for Orders and Service Requests using the Analytics Admin Tool. Verified/Tested Data Sources, Configured Physical/Business Model/Presentation Catalogs/Subject Areas, keys, joins, Logical Table Sources. Identified measures, dimensions, hierarchical relationships, granularity of data, data sources (flat file, excel, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase, Informix).

Configured and modified the Vanilla application to meet customer requirements. Worked with Expert Services to add new tables to the repository for reporting requirements. Participated in the full life-cycle software development using Siebel eFinance.

• Developed an enterprise-wide tracking application with VB 5.0 and SQL Server. Programmed functionality using Visual Basic API calls which piped (SQL) statements to the Microsoft SQL Server. Designed and built a Security Module for users and access rights to legal documents.
