Objective:

Booked catering events and meetings for full service property. Met with clients to determine their needs. Managed the banquet department; hiring, training and scheduling banquet servers and housemen. Ordered various AV equipment, linens, etc for events. Decorated banquet rooms when applicable. Organized events and handled any problems which arose. Prepared event tickets and entered into Opera system. Hired, trained and scheduled hotel restaurant servers. Hired and scheduled lounge and banquet bartenders. Ordered liquor/beer and performed monthly inventory. Worked beside banquet staff during events, took shifts in lounge and restaurant when needed. Front desk agent, concierge and night audit fill-in.
