Experience: August 2002 ATC Distribution Group, Inc. to Present Louisville, Kentucky FINANCIAL ANALYST (in a Consulting Capacity) Report to the Corporate Controller of a nationwide distributor of aftermarket automobile transmission parts.
• Responsible for the Sales & Use Tax Filings Reporting for all taxing jurisdictions consisting of 29 States and 50+ Local jurisdictions as well as any audits performed by these jurisdictions. Management of the Sales Tax Database and Vertex Tax Software system. Annual Reporting for all states and all business license renewals and new filings. • Fixed Asset management for the entire company consisting of over 5,000 assets including management of the FAS software system and management reporting. Property Tax Filings for 44 branches and 7 distribution/production facilities. • Assist in the monthly closing process including creation/submission of journal entries, account reconciliation and financial reporting related to tax and fixed assets. Backup for the internal financial reporting process. Assist in quarterly and annual external audits and bank audits.

• Responsible for entire accounting process including A/R, A/P, G/L, Payroll, Cash Management, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Taxes, and Financial Reporting. • Liaison between the team and minority owners related to financial matters as well as the team and the league office. • Responsible for the A/R Department as well as being the financial manager on software development projects and new customer implementation. This includes thorough testing of the systems being developed from an accounting perspective and being the liaison between the customers’ accounting group and our implementation team to ensure total data coverage. • Additional responsibilities include being involved in all accounting process improvement projects (i.e. EDI A/P processing, ACH payment processing, development and implementation of new A/R, A/P and G/L programs). • Assisted MIS in the credit card process on our web-based storefront. • Represented the financial group in performing the Due Diligence work on a current acquisition as well as having the lead role in the transition of the merger, including all financial processes and systems, Human Resource issues and being the DSSI onsite person for all additional issues that arise.
