Objective: To work in a challenging environment where I can put my experience (both military and civilian)in Emergency Management to work benefitting others.
Experience: Over twenty years of experience in Emergency Management at all areas. I have taught over 10,000 students, responded to actual emergencies and worked in Emergency Operations Centers. Currently, while serving as Safety Coordinator for the Monmouth Public Works, I have been reviewing and rewriting emergency plans. I am also co-manager and trainer for the local City Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Skills: I am an organized individual who enjoys training others on proper response to emergencies. I have researched classes and written lesson plans on most topics covered. I look for ways to enhance my training from using visual aids to using hands on training. I am competent with the computer from word processing to developing training using Power Point.
Additional Information: Besides the Air Force Disaster Preparedness Course, I have attended various other military and FEMA classes on dealing with Emergency Management. My final assignment prior to retiring from the Air Force was as Chief of Readiness where I oversaw the daily operations of the Emergency Operations Center. I was responsible for training all personnel who worked there and were tasked by the units to respond there during emergencies. Prior to this assignment, while in Germany, my office was named "BEST DISASTER PREPAREDNESS OFFICE IN THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCES, EUROPE FOR 1990" and I was named "BEST DISASTER PREPAREDNESS OFFICER FOR 17TH AIR FORCE, FOR 1990".
