Self-trained on how to develop the Changepoint System (an application for Project Management and Resource utilization) to track resources time and areas of specialties, forecast revenue, enter milestone expectations so the system tracks and reminds you of when invoicing should take place and developed a new approach for inputting engagements into the Changepoint System to operate more efficiently and effectively.
I authored and implemented the new procedures for the Project Staff to follow when managing Enterprise Consulting Projects.
IKON will now apply a system that they already have in place to more effectively manage Enterprise Consulting Practices versus the original plan of purchasing another system and creating more work. This saved capital and valuable bandwidth for everyone involved.
American Lung Association –
Hired to be the Systems Administrator for the Pledgemaker Database an Oracle based fundraising database. Built the structure of the database for the American Lung Association’s needs for volunteer work and fundraising. Attended SQL classes, trained employees and volunteers on the system and wrote functional queries to run statistical reports and mass mailings for the Lung Association.
Users’ Groups
Created and coordinated “Users’ Groups” for the Pledgemaker database. This included creating an agenda for monthly meetings, coordinating the meetings, taking minutes and distributing them to other “Users” that were unable to attend. Assisted other non-for-profit organizations with technical questions and support when Softrek (the company that wrote and provided the Pledgemaker system) was unable to help them right away.
Aladin Database
Converted codes and records from the Pledgemaker Database to the Aladin Database. Pin pointed and resolved problems with the conversion, and mapped out UNIX files to correspond with Oaktree’s Aladin files. Assisted in the hook up of the Novell network. Set up default and security codes for Aladin. Created a book of instructions and code listing for the Lung Association. Researched and set up classes for the staff of the Lung Association.
