Researched and wrote articles for a special section highlighting methamphetamine abuse, tracking methamphetamine lab activity within the area over a three-year period. Covered a variety of spot news stories on deadline, including car accidents, burglaries, and drug busts.
The Eastern Progress, Richmond, Kentucky News Reporter, August 2006 - May 2007 Served as city government reporter, covering Richmond city commission meetings on a regular basis. Provided ongoing coverage of the Madison County smoking ordinance and Richmond’s Sunday alcohol sales ordinance. Covered lectures, concerts, and speeches, as well.
