Objective: With 20 years experience in the purchasing and inventory management field, I feel ready to explore the expansion of my innovative personality and opportunities a growing firm has to offer. I know I can be of value to the company.
More than 15 years of my experience has been with the E3 Inventory Management software products. The ability to provide supervisory leadership, and function as part of an executive team, and to produce results quickly and efficiently, balancing the need and the urgency. A knowledge of US Customs, and the needs of my customers, both foreign and domestic has been invaluable, since I purchased and imported products worth more than $8 million a year. Inventory control of $15 million of goods required closely working with product designers, vendors, shippers, even the producers of rawmaterials. All of this was done while assuring that all quality standards for my customers were met for all 6000 items from 300 different vendors. Detailed understanding of how inventory management, replenishment, cost and accounting systems function together as an intertwined unit. A thorough knowledge of IBM computer systems, 34, 36, System4 and AS400, as well as Microsoft Software has been an absolute necessity.
Appreciating that your time is valuable, I would welcome the opportunity to discuss, personally, my capabilities. I look forward to hearing from you to arrange an appointment at a mutually convenient time.
