Additional Information:
Dear Recruiting people,

Please find attached my Resume as an IT professional with a very
strong background managing IT areas in world-class manufacturing
companies, with a consolidated global experience.

I have worked with ERP's for 14 years, 4 as Project Leader and 10 as
IT Manager. I have participated as implementation member for the
ManMan ERP, leading first the Sales and Marketing area (Quotes, SO,
Billing, AR, Sales Analysis, Inventory and Shipments), then
Procurement one (PO, Receiving, AP), an finally working in several
other enhancements to Costing, GL, MRP, Guaranties, Customer Services,
Pricing and Taxes. At the same time, I implemented (along with a
coworker) the first LAN in the plant and was the Network Manager with
two persons reporting to me.

Due to my experience, I received an offer to work as Project Manager
to implement from scratch the brand new ERP Chess (Glovia's old name).
Being leader for the Mexico plant and working with in a multinational,
multifunctional team, I lead the creation of a LAN, buying and
configuring an HP-9000 computer (using HP's UNIX, HP-UX), installing
the database, setting up the ERP "off the shelf", identifying,
evaluating and implementing customizations and finally loading initial
data, kicking off the live environment and doing several post
implementation assessments. The final result, which I am proud of, was
a very stable environment, where the users were the owners of the
business application and they run, by themselves, Physical
Inventories, MRP, Cost Rolls and the like. I had only one person
reporting to me there, but had a strong support and relationship with
a centralized team that did the customizations for the three plants
(one in Mexico, the others in USA and France) that worked together to
launch a new ERP. By the way, the plant of Mexico was the first one to
have a working ERP out of the three. I created a Novell based network
(mixing SPX/IPX and TCP/IP) and integrated the email system (Microsoft
Mail) to the corporate network.

Working at that plant, I was contacted by another multinational
company to lead yet another implementation, this time to migrate an old
version of Chess to the newest release, now called Glovia. Again, working
in a tight schedule, with multinational teams, I was able to deliver a
working environment on time, within the cost constrains and at a very
high level of
quality. This time I worked with the Oracle database, and the UNIX of IBM
(AIX) running in an RS/6000 computer. I have a wide and deep knowledge of
ERP architectures, mastering the Sales and Procurement modules, as
well as the planning, manufacturing, engineering ones and others, and,
all the financial effect of each movement is done to materials and
labor. Understanding how the ERP works, I have been able to add tons
of functionality, from simple new reports, to business intelligence
capabilities.

Using SuperLayer and ProIV, as well as powerful SQL statements, triggers
and PL/SQL modules, I have created multidimensional analysis for Sales,
Backlog, Bookings, Customer Statements, Vendor Delivery, Vendor
Quality, Customer Delivery and a bunch of other views that have helped
the managers and final users to better understand the information to
provide quality, service and delivery to the customers, at the same
time that cost is reduced.

Looking for a broader range of expertise, I accepted a challenging position as Customer Care Portfolio Manager at a World Wide level, working with the incident and service request
management of ERP's as SAP and PeopleSoft, its problem an operation
management as well as service level and change management. The SAP ERP
is tightly integrated with other critical supporter systems, as
Manufacturing Execution Systems (Shop Floor Control: Insite by
Camstar), Master Data Management (MRP: i2), Human Resources
(PeopleSoft), Engineering Change (Product Life-cycle Management:
Agile), Supplier Collaboration (Supply Chain Management: e2Open),
General Procurement (Procure+) and Demand Management (eCommerce:
Comergent), all of which have defined Service Levels that, along with
internal teams and vendors and service providers must be met and
enhanced. Supporting gobal teams, I have simplified they way on which
those services are provided in EMEA (UK), and currently I am working
within a multinational team that will set the IT Infrastructure of a
new 14,000 people plant in Shenzhen City (Peoples Republic of China)
that will start operating by Oct 2005.

Currently I am working in another Global position, this time administering the operation of more than 700 Unix and Windows Server in the Americas, leading a team of 15 high skilled IT Professional, as part of a coporate project to reduce the cost to operate IT Sites world wide.
I have integrated two ERP's into one

I have integrated two ERP's into one (Oracle Applications into
Glovia), as well as splitted a single instance of Glovia into two to
manage two different business units recently separated. The key of my
success working with ERP's is first understand clearly what the users
need (walk in the shoes of the users), what the main concepts are (MRP
and MPS runs, Cost Roll UP and Roll Over, Financial closing, etc.) and
then study deeply the implementation, reading any manual of the ERP,
the database map, the philosophy to code the ERP and, in general, to
become as familiar as possible with the specific implementation of the
ERP. That has led me to master SQL and several languages, going from
FORTRAN and COBOL to 4GL and RAD tools, as well as several databases
from ProISAM files to Network models, Hierarchical and Relational ones.

I can travel up to 50% of my time or more, if needed and have a visa
ready to visit the USA.
