Experience: Employment History Technical Recruiter (Contract) 3M Company St. Paul, MN October 2007 to December 2007 3M is a St. Paul-based international company with more than 35 Business Units, organized into six businesses. 3M has more than 75,000 employees, $23B in annual sales, and operations in more than 60 countries.
Was recruited by 3M as a full-cycle Technical Recruiter to support their Corporate R&D Business Unit, recruiting for PhD-level Chemical Engineers, Polymer Engineers, Product Design Engineers, etc. As a result of 3M’s recent Q4-07 and Q1-08 forecasts, all funding for my corporate group was halted, and my contract was closed. After choosing to take time for vacation and family, am now available for a new contract or permanent position.

Technical Recruiter (Contract) Schwan's Foods Marshall, MN January 2007 to June 2007 Schwan's Foods is an international, Minnesota-based food manufacturing company with more than 22,000 employees, and an annual revenue in excess of $3.5 billion. Schwan’s is the largest home food delivery service in the world, and the world’s largest frozen pizza manufacturer, producing brands such as Freschetta, Red Barron and Tony’s.
Within two days of concluding my contract at Sebesta Blomberg, was recruited by Schwan's to join them in a contract capacity to handle all full-cycle technical recruiting for their Global Supply Chain Business Unit. Recruited in a very high volume, fast-paced environment in which I owned and managed the Hiring Manager relationship. Recruited for nationwide positions such as two Directors of Strategic Sourcing / Procurement, Manufacturing Managers, Production Supervisors, Director EHS, Sanitation Manager, Sr. Accountants, Manager Strategic Sourcing, Capacity Inventory Planners, Sr. Buyer, Manager Distribution and Logistics, Project Manager Distribution Services, Sr. Transportation Analyst, Technical / Maintenance Manager, Manager of Process Improvement, and more. Schwan’s is highly diligent about OFCCP compliance, so had solid experience working within those regulations. In addition, received the AIRS Technical Manual, and am learning their processes.
Because their headquarters is in Marshall, MN, they flew me in each Monday morning, with a return flight each Thursday afternoon; worked for Schwan's from my home office each Friday. Was originally asked to hold this position for 30 days, but was extended numerous times for a total of six months.
Technical Recruiter (Contract) Sebesta Blomberg (Roseville, MN) September 2006 to January 2007 Sebesta Blomberg is a highly-respected engineering services provider based in Roseville, MN. SB provides services such as engineering design, construction support, commissioning, facility support, energy management and environmental management services in the commercial, higher education, healthcare, government, industrial, utility, airport and renewable fuels markets. SB is involved in the current Pentagon renovation, and Homeland Security’s Nuclear Missile Defense program, as well as other mission-critical facilities projects.
Was recruited by SB as a Technical Recruiter, where I handled full-cycle nationwide searches for such positions as Electrical, Mechanical and Commissioning Engineers, as well as drafting and HVAC professionals and Electrical Analysts. Was originally requested to assist them for three weeks, but my time was extended for four months.
