Objective:
I am an experinced Chilcare Teacher seeking full-time employment as a Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher, preferrably working with two year olds. I have about 2-3 years of center-based childcare experience, most of which is wiht two year olds. I hope to obtain my CDA in the near future and strive to make a difference in the lives of children.

I am the Lead Teacher of two year olds. I create a daily curriculum and paper based on the High Reach Curriculum. I create and manage an age as well as developmentally appropriate environment for children to learn in. I practice proper health and safety guidelines daily. I also facilitate and encourage potty-training among the children who show intreest in that area of development. Along with teaching, guiding, and nurchering children, I keep a portfolio of each childs progress and communicate this progreess with the childs parents on a regular basis.

I began this job as an assistant in the Infant room. I then was the After-school Teacher, which progressed into the assistant summer-camp teacher. I also was a floater during this time, where i went from room to room helping whereever i was needed. Then around August I became the Assistant teacher in the Twos. After about three weekes I was then promoted to the Lead Teacher. Un fortunately soon fallowing in October I had A personal Hardship and was forced to resign from work for a period of time.

This was my first job in the Childcare field. I was te assistant teacher in the twos. I enjoyed it a lot and began realizing that Childcare was the career I wanted to persue. I learned the basics of caring for that particular age group, some basics of curriculum and routines, and the beginning of the world of potty-training. I enjoyed every aspect and opportunity of this job.
