Objective: To manage and improve all aspects of a solution oriented technolgy sales department.
Experience: I am an executive of a business solution services company and I have successfully managed the challenges related to sales of technical solutions for more than 15 years. Given the breadth of my industry and technology experience, I have become very adept at quickly grasping the issues related to complex problems and their business value.
My approach to managing and continuously improving the sales organization is highly process oriented, focused on results, transparent in its effectiveness, and completely customer driven. I will partner with executive management to insure that goals are attained and that business values are clearly represented to the customer.
I will be able to hit the ground running. Even as I learn your unique business value, become acquainted with your customer base, sales and support team, I will begin to implement a sales process that will provide a clear path for continual improvement of sales results. This can be done in conjunction with the tools currently being used such as Salesforce.com which will eliminate the risk of introducing a radical change in the sales team’s activities.
My value system is always based on customers – it is what drives all of my behaviors, decisions and actions. My focus will be on building a comprehensive, measurable process for incrementally and continually improving sales success based on those values.
Education: My education is very broad based and includes 3 years of study in engineering, finishing with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Moorhead State University, and I am only a few credits shy of a minor in marketing. I have continued my education by taking formal graduate level classes in statistics and marketing as well as Solution Selling and Strategic and Conceptual Selling (Miller – Heiman).
My approach to selling is very process oriented. A successful sales program can be looked at in a similar way that we look at manufacturing. A combination of tools and business process improvement techniques can provide a problem solving structure to define, measure and improve all aspects of the sales process from processing leads - to closing business – to customer service.
I have more than 15 years of experience selling business solutions to clients from $10Million to $multi-billion in sales both in the US and in South America.
