Objective:
Seeking a position as a Statistician / Clinical Trial Statistician / Biostatistician position to utilize my technical, collaborative and leadership responsibilities to ensure quality outcomes. Worked on the following surveys:

o Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GearUp): Categorical Analysis, Developed Logistic Regression Model using SAS for GearUp propensity and some important variables requested by the client.


o Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) and School Health Education Profiles (PROFILE): Develop weights at the school- and student-level. Tasks to get the final weights: Clean up data to put together the frame and sample (communication with the client), assigning base weights, imputation, non-response adjustments (using CHAID), post stratification/raking, assign stratum and PSUs, and quality checks.

o National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP): Developed weights at the student-level. Tasks to get the final weights: assigning base weights, imputation, non-response adjustments, post stratification/raking, assign stratum and PSUs, and quality checks.

o National Household Education Surveys (NHES): Develop weights at the student-level. Tasks to get the final weights: assigning base weights, imputation, non-response adjustments.

o Early Childhood Longitudinal Study (ECLS_K): Worked on Data Disclosure Analysis.

o Early Childhood Longitudinal Study (ECLS_B): Developed weights at the student-level. Tasks to get the final weights: assigning base weights, imputation, non-response adjustments.

o Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC): Worked on preparing the files and weighting process: worked on base weights, non-response adjustments, create replicate base weights, control totals files, rake the full sample weights, and create replicate weights on the raked weights, preparing the report.

o EPA Cooling Water Study: Worked on Data Mining.

o Study of Personnel Needs in Special Education (SPeNSE): Developed Logistic Regression Model using WesVar and Linear Regression Model in SAS.

Worked in the Statistical Center as a member of the consulting team. The clients were from the department of Electrical Engineering, Fishery, Microbiology, Environmental engineering, Civil engineering, Forestry, Computer Science, Food and Nutrition, and Physics. Helped the clients at different stages of the research in designing the experiment, collecting the data, and modeling & analyzing data. Projects were done using SAS, SPSS and Minitab.

Worked in the Research and Evaluation Department to design the survey, prepare questionnaire, training, collect actual data from the field and Analyze data in SPSS and SAS and prepare the report. Developed Linear Regression Model to evaluate Worked on different programs with other non-government organization, foreign universities & organizations, and presented the report in the quarterly meetings. Provided statistical support to different researchers in the Research and Evaluation Department.
