Provide merchandising support in home improvement retail stores. Specifically responsible for stocking products, installing signage, maintaining Plan-O-Gram layouts, product demonstrations, and pricing displays. Also provide product training to store personnel. Perform all duties without direct supervision in multiple stores throughout assigned territory.
Accomplishments for Samsco Services include:
Consistent record of completing projects ahead of schedule allowing me to assist employees at other locations complete their projects. Received 2 salary increases and bonuses within the past 2 years.
SALES ASSOCIATE AND MANAGER 1984 to 2005 Radio Shack Columbus and La Grange, Georgia & Auburn, Alabama Radio Shack is a leading retailer of consumer electronics and retail support services with over 6,000 retail stores in the United States and Mexico.
Responsible for all activities associated with the successful management of retail store operations. Specifically responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service as well as the training, development, and motivation of a staff of 6 sales people. Directed staff to a consistent record of achievement in meeting and exceeding sales goals that resulted in several awards for outstanding performance. Also served as Team Leader for 3 other Radio Shack stores in the area.
Accomplishments for Radio Shack included:
Received two Leaders Club awards for increasing annual sales by over 20% with net profits in excess of 15%. Selected as Senior Manager on several occasions to lead trainee classes focused on the areas of management, sales, customer service, and profit. Recruited, trained, and developed several associates to management level positions.
