Objective:
Tom Bedford has over 11 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in ALL aspects of software Quality Assurance testing of Windows, GUI applications using Web-based, traditional Client/Server, and Data Warehouse architectures. As a QA MANAGER/TEST ARCHITECT, Tom specializes in STARTING-UP, RESTRUCTURING, LEADING, and MANAGING the QUALITY ASSURANCE and SOFTWARE TESTING PROCESSES and PRACTICES for very small to very large companies, and is also an excellent team player and resource within already-established testing environments. His normal project activities include collecting business, functional, and design requirements, developing business/user scenarios and Use Cases, writing and executing test plans (test strategies, test requirements, test cases, test scenarios, and test procedures), as well as investigating and tracking defects for Functional, Web, Internet, Intranet, E-Business, E-Commerce, Stress, Performance, Regression, and User Interface testing. Tom also has project experience in automated functional testing with Rational (SQA) Robot and Test Manager, and developed a practical, 400-page training course on these tools for internal consultants at a respected software test consulting company. Tom was one of the first 1100 professional test engineers in the entire country to become certified from the prestigious Quality Assurance Institute in 1999.
