Skills: Bookkeeping • Accounts Payable & Receivable. • Bank Reconciliations monthly, including follow-up on discrepancies. • Daily communication with store managers regarding cash reserves and facilitating change in orders or financial statements. • Reconciliation of non-sufficient fund checks and balances. • Keep daily deposit log with 4 stores and enter data into Quickbooks. • Track daily over-the-counter sales. • Create and maintain invoicing.
General Office / Receptionist • Answer multi-line phones, take accurate messages & transfer calls. • Process in-going and out-going mail. • Time delivery trucks and create reports for managers. • Alpha and numeric filing; maintaining and archiving as needed. • Greet walk-in & phone customers in a professional manner, providing information regarding services and processes. • Schedule maintenance service for office machines. • Data entry & scheduling tasks for crew.
Purchasing • Obtain quotes, procure and expedite materials and services. • Generate and process purchase orders and invoices. • Examine bids; award contracts. • Coordinate purchasing with planning, shipping, receiving and quality control departments. • Outsourcing with purveyors for specific treatments and processes. • Research and develop new supply sources and purveyors. • Find Federal & State contracts online; prepare technical proposals and place bids.
