Objective: I am a healthcare professional with over twenty-five years of experience in various aspects of the radiographic / radiologic field. I have a BS in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Counseling and Teaching and am a licensed Radiographic Technologist. My career started in academia as an Assistant Professor of Radiography, responsible for coursework in physics, computer literacy, radiation protection, positioning, and patient care and ethics. I then moved to the hospital setting as Technical Coordinator of Radiology, with responsibility for the daily clinical operation of six radiological subspecialty departments.
The next segment of my career was in various roles at Agfa Corporation. I started in Applications and quickly moved to Project Manager, bringing live Agfa’s first and largest Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS) site. At the completion of this installation, I moved to Sales, detailing radiographic film and both conventional and digital equipment; my experience with PACS dates to the introduction of this technology. I then moved to the Marketing Division where I was responsible for sales and customer education programs describing Agfa’s new product offers at user group meetings, professional conferences, and customer meetings. In addition, I solicited suggestions from users and recommended product enhancements to the software development team for inclusion in future releases. I was also responsible for developing and presenting training materials to the Sales organization describing new and enhanced products. Training sessions were conducted either live or via web-based programs using voice-over technology, for which I served as narrator.
I seek a position in the healthcare industry that will take advantage of my broad experience within the medical devices field, advance my knowledge, and challenge my capabilities.
