Experience:
Alpha Environmental Management Corp. – Environmental Analyst (August 2007- Present)

Environmental Analyst position consists of daily, weekly and monthly on-site inspections to provide clients with consultation and support in the areas of erosion control and stormwater management. Inspections are conducted in accordance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NDPES) protocols and mandated by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). On-site inspections are conducted to monitor the quality and overall effectiveness of all existing best management practices (BMPs). This position also involves daily communication, both in person and via phone, with clients and sub-contractors. Current responsibilities associated with this position require exceptional understanding and usage of Microsoft Word, Excel and computer-based programs.

BJAAM Environmental, Inc. – Project Manager/Risk Assessor (May 2005 – August 2007)

Responsibilities consisted of managing projects that included site assessments, risk assessments, and remediation projects involving major oil sites in accordance with the State Fire Marshall’s Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (SFM/BUSTR) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) protocols. Primary responsibilities included analysis of field data, report compilation, project management and completion of contaminant fate and transport models used to quantify the potential adverse human health affects due to exposure to site-specific chemicals. This position also included experience managing projects involving small business clients with or without coverage under the Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Release Compensation Board (PUSTRCB) as well as oversight of Phase I and Phase II site assessments. Experience also extended to underground storage tank (UST) system closure operations, which involves closure sampling, excavation dig-outs, and soil disposal associated with temporary upgrades and permanent UST removals.








BJAAM Environmental, Inc. – Field Geologist/Technician (February 2005 – May 2005)

Formerly responsible for supervision of drilling and subcontracted drilling activities associated with site investigations and risk assessment. Experience included the collection, identification, and field screening of soil samples during the installation of monitoring wells, air sparge/vapor extraction wells, and ground water recovery wells in accordance with BUSTR and Ohio EPA protocols.

Responsibilities also included technical field activities in accordance with SFM/BUSTR, Ohio EPA, and Ohio VAP protocols in support of site investigations, risk assessment, emergency response, and remediation. These tasks involved technical assistance during site surveys, natural attenuation surveys, down-hole camera investigations and free phase hydrocarbon recovery.

Southeast Missouri St. University Registrar - Student Worker (October 2001-May 2004).

Primary tasks involved working with faculty and students to resolve issues concerning educational status at the university. Experience utilized computer and telephone skills as well as face to face interaction with students and faculty.

Missouri Wildlife Rescue Center- Animal Care Supervisor (Summer 2002).

Supervisor responsibilities included managing a volunteer staff with the in-depth treating and caretaking of injured wildlife. Primary duties consisted of scheduling, training and supervision of the volunteer staff as well as ensuring the proper procedures for animal care and visitor interactions were properly enforced.

Southeast Missouri State University (August 2000-December 2004).
