My name is Samuel DeFazio and I have over 30 years bakery experience. I recently sold a very successful retail/wholesale scratch bakery in the Tampa Bay Area. I’ve sold my products to over one hundred high end restaurants, gourmet coffee shops and hotels. I can supply you with a list of names to confirm.
Before that I was a manager for Publix Supermarkets, a company that took pride in their quality baked goods. I started when Publix had 50 stores, retired when they had 800 stores. I had climbed the ladder rapidly with Publix. I take a lot of pride in baking. I feel baking is a true craftsmanship . I became a Bakery Manager in 1986-1999. I also have done a large number of training. I have trained bakers and promoted many into management. I love to train, and observe associates grow well teaching them a lost art. As of now I am a chef for largo medical. I’m now ready to get back into the business, where I can help build employees futures as well as my own. I have done research on quite a few companies.
