Objective:
To obtain a full-time marketing position utilizing my organization, creativity, communication, and multi-tasking skills enhanced through my marketing degree.
Experience:
In high school I worked for two years at IGA as a bagger. I learned a lot about customer service because I dealt with many different customers each day. The next job I had was working for Farmers Telephone Cooperative. My job titles were Service Maintenance and Construction Maintenance. During Service Maintenance I performed many tasks such as cutting grass, pulling weeds, operating small equipment, taking out trash, moving furniture, counting inventory, and assisted in reading service orders to identify and evaluate problems customers had with their telephones and computers. I established strong problem solving skills and illustrated great customer service. During Construction Maintenance I participated in construction, including locating cables that are underground, digging up old cables, pulling cable, placing new cables in the ground, digging up old pedestals, and placing new pedestals in the ground. I enhance communication skills through teamwork within the organization. I worked there for three summers. The next job I had was working for W. Lee Flowers. I worked there for about two weeks during the Christmas Holidays as a truck unloader. I helped take pallets off of trucks and separated the items to make sure similar items were on the same pallet. These pallets were shipped to grocery stores. My most recent job was working at Lowe's. My job title was Inside Lawn and Garden Customer Service Associate. I helped customers with anything they needed in my department. I also learned the value of customer service through working with customers daily.
Education:
I received a B.S. degree in Marketing from Clemson University on December 16, 2004.
Skills:
I am a very hard working person and I get along with almost everyone. I have good time management skills and my computer skills are Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowePoint, and Internet.
Additional Information:
This is where I'm going to list my honors and activities. I achieved the Eagle Scout Award and Life Scholarship. When I was at Clemson, I was in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), IPTAY Collegiate Club, and I played Intramural Sports.
