Experience: After studying International Relations in Beijing University, I worked as a reporter at the largest Chinese TV Network for over three years. In that capacity, I gained interpersonal communication and relationship management skills when interviewing and developing relationships with people from different backgrounds. I further developed collaborative, organizational and project management skills when leading the report of significant events and co-organizing special events.
While I was studying for my MA degree in International Relations from Yale University, I worked as an intern at the Yale University Office of Development, Major Gifts for nearly six months. By working with several Major Gifts officers on a number of important projects, analyzing the endowed funds database and territorial alumni files, and assisting with special events, I got acquainted with the process of development in higher education.
