Objective: I am interested in obtaining a report writer position. Am willing to work in your offices or from home. I do have many qualifications that you may be interested in - plus some that you may not be requiring for specific positions. Any missing attributes are learnable and I am always willing to expand my skill sets.
Experience: I have more than 15 years of progressive business experience: Seven years of my experience is in the healthcare industry and another eight years is in manufacturing. I have been involved with billing, electronic receipts, materials management, inventory, purchasing, financing, accounts receivable and payable, payroll and patient demographic extracts and reporting.
My Project Management skills have allowed for the successful implementation of a new materials management system and the upgrades of the payroll and human resource systems. My team management experience has given end-users faith and a comfort level when implementing new process / procedure redesigns and has enabled me to be a respected team leader.
My Crystal Reports and Access Database design skill sets have made me the "go-to" person when managers need a more detailed analysis of their data or a different view of data than their respective computer software systems can supply them. My Crystal Report design skills allow management to get more intricately detailed reports that are tailored to meet their needs. In this day-and-age of “bottom-line” focus, I would not be against the idea of designing reports from my home.
As Sr. Analyst II, I am the end-users first-point-of-contact person: I act as liaison between my customers and the technical group, am the link to outside vendors, serve as trouble-shooter, process / procedure re-designer, trainer and documenter. I am the person they contact when they were seeking an alternative to current procedures and processes. Skills: Responsible for Microsoft ACCESS database design, implementation, training and maintenance, evaluation and designing of all report requests from end-users (Crystal v8.5), month end reporting processes and documentation. * Access database development including: Overall system design, report design and processing, data design, table relationship mapping, form design and menu design (Automation).
* Created, processed and documented reports using vendor supplied system report writing tools (e.g. Eclipsys, Ross, Pathways Materials Management) per end-user specifications.
* Responsible for data extraction from various input systems, and the resulting import into Microsoft Access databases as central data repository and reporting.
* Established and designed month end reporting cycles and report generation schedules, including documentation and processes.
* Coordinated the extraction and upload of required patient and financial data into regulatory and payer systems along with data integrity verification and additional information processing.
* Processed, designed and generated Crystal reports from multiple systems for financial and clinical end users.
* Maintained and updated data repository information for physician and clinician use and monitoring.
* Conducted monthly summary meetings to disseminate critical information to clinical and financial executive team members.
* Initiated new surgery-to-purchasing and related departmental specific month-end balancing procedures and documentation.
* Maintained strong relationships with all external system vendors and development teams.
* Documented existing data base structure queries and information formatting requirements.
* Facilitate and design data conversion processes for existing and ongoing implementations related to financial and materials processing systems.
Additional Information: Searching for a position long-distance - via the Internet - is not as easy as I thought it would be. I have recently purchased a home in Strongsville, Ohio, and I cannot move until I have located another position. I am willing to work in your offices or from my home.
