To work as a dental assistant, learn and grow with the company.
Experience:
Interned at Siskiyou Community Health Center as a chairside assistant for eight weeks.
Temp work also at siskiyou dental for 3 months.
Education:
* Dental assisting vocation at Tongue Point Job Corps Center. including classes in circulating assisting, chairside assisting and a three month radiology corse.
* Earned a GED at Tongue Point.
* Earned a high school deploma at Illinois Valley High School in Cave Junction Oregon.
* Interned at Siskiyou Community Health Center as a chairside assistant for eight weeks.
Skills:
* sterilization (ultrasonic, cold sterile, and autoclave).
* Breakdown and set up of rooms. Sterilization of equiptment and general upkeep of dental equiptments, protective barriers, proper disposal of dental materials (sharps and biohazard).
* Taking impressions of paitents teeth using impression materials.
* Making custom trays.
* Diagnosic casts, shaving and shaping diagnosic casts.
* Creating wax bite impressions.
* Bleaching, and grinding trays.
* removing sutures.

* suctioning and passing instraments.

* rubber dam setups
* Frount desk, such as basic computer skills, answering phones, pulling and puting away paitents charts, faxing, labeling.
