Objective: To obtain a dental assisting position in your office to expand my skills.
Experience: Dental Assistant for Dr. Liu and Dr. Lin Clarksburg MD
Duties include setting up and breaking down the operatories before and after treating the patient, taking digital bite wing and panoramic x-rays, then assisting the doctors in dental procedures, such as composites, cleanings, Rp&Sc, and crowns among other things. I also became proficient with the program “Eaglesoft” and doing so, I did a lot of charting and perio readings. After each procedure I would clean, package and sterilize the instruments. I would also perform duties at the front desk which included, answering phones, filling out paper work, entering information in the computer and calling insurances to get the breakdown of benefits for the patients.
