Objective:
After being in the Aerospace industry for over 20 years, and the Military for 10 years, I an currently looking to move into the management area. I flew over 500 combat hours and have over 1,200 career flight hours.
I recieved numerous Army Achievement medals, the Army Commendation Award, the Army Air Medal, and the Sikorsky award for flight hours.

State Manager

I was in charge of gathering State Aid to Hurricane Katrina victims that were re-located to the Birmingham area. I also helped manage the housing center that we were located in. I worked along FEMA personnel to aquire extra housing, funds, food, clothing, employment, and other services to aid in the recovery process.

Aircraft Mechanic
Pemco Aeroplex in Birmingham, Alabama
September 2000 to June 2005
Depot level maintenance on KC-135 aircraft. I removed and replaced aircraft components and flight control surfaces. I also was on a team to do work on the J-Star aircraft for 6 months. For approximately one year, I was on the inspection team when the aircraft first came to the facility. I inspected various areas of the aircraft for structural damage, and component damage.

Plant mechanic
Encore wire in McKinney Texas
May 1998 to August 2000
I worked on heavy wire machinery, extruders, and indexers. Acquired welding skills, and metal cutting skills. Most of the machinery was Ingersall-Rand equipment. I also helper install a Cortinovus wire bailing machine system. General plant maintenance and coolant plumbing skills were also obtained.

Hydaulic pump assembler
Vickers in Jackson, Mississippi
January 1995 to May 1998
Complete assembly and build up of the O40 10D hydraulic pump for Boeing 777 Aircraft. I then tested the unit on an automated hydraulic test stand. Also performed overhaul maintenance on the same equipment.

Skills:
I am currently in the Alabama National Guard. I am a UH- crewchief and aircrew member. I also am in a leadership role. Not only am I in charge of maintaining the helicopter, I am also a unit trainer, and help my platoon leaders with additional training for soldiers, reports, and schedules.


Additional Information:
My Military training, and leadership skills are a valuable asset to any company. I am a hard working, fair and honest man. I believe that doing the job right the first time is the only way to accomplish something. There is all ways room for improvement, and a better way to do a task. I enjoy meeting new challenges, and am very goal oriented. I feel that I am the person that a company would greatly benefit having working for them.
