Helpdesk Administrator/Computer Support Tech * Started out in 1977 as a keypunch operator. When the equipment was upgraded in 1982, the job title changed to Data Entry Operator. * In 1985, phased out Data Entry and moved into computer hardware and network support. * In 1990, added backup Server Administrator to my responsibilities. * In 1995, Helpdesk Administrator and was added to my responsibilities. * Starting in 1999, attended company provided Microsoft Certified training courses in NT Server Administration, Upgrading skill to Server 2000, Active Directory Administration and Exchange Server Administration. * In 2000, was part of a global team to upgrade from Server NT to Server 2000. Was the site lead to upgrade desktops at two plant sites from Windows 95 to 2000. * In 2002, again the site lead to upgrade both plant sites from cc:Mail to Outlook. Exchange Admin to my responsibilities. * Responsible for approximately 300 desktops and laptops. This included asset inventory as well as hardware and software support and upgrades. * Responsible for Server backups and file restoration. Also responsible for offsite storage and retrieval of backup tapes.
