Objective:

Dear Sir/Madam,
For the past 4 years, I have been employed in a series of increasingly challenging logistics assignments at a mid-level position. These jobs called for a solid working knowledge of current and emerging doctrines and practices involving intensive expediting, customer service, material requirements, stocks, services, operations, and automated information management. I am computer literate with personal computers.
I have coordinated the shipment and tracking of items to destinations both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental U. S. (OCONUS), as well as the issue and management of over 10,000 inventory items.
I have also identified and solved all frustrated requisitions needed in support of aircraft, engine, support equipment, and test bench repairs and ensuring the expeditious shipment and receipt of these critical aircraft and support equipment parts. This was accomplished by parts requirement forecasting, liaisons with item managers from Naval Inventory Control Points and Defense Logistics Agencies, and identifying and contacting commercial vendors to obtain acceptable price quotes and make purchases. Initiated lateral support requests in order to obtain hard to get items from other military and commercial sources
I am proficient in technical research as well. This research was done to assess the validity of military customer requirements, the procurement of various items through multiple government supply systems and commercial vendors. Performed daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations to further ensure the validity of squadron and work center requirements.
The attached resume will give you a closer look at my on-the-job achievements and capabilities. I am confident that I could produce the same results for you, given the opportunity.
