Experience includes the design and implementation of various Windows 2000 & 2003 networks at Electronic Arts, TracFone Wireless, AT&T, and Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. This encompasses setup of most production and development systems, switches, & routers.

Intel servers. These servers and systems had to be fully redundant to provide high reliability and
fault-tolerance. Use of HP’s Server Insight Manager to monitor these servers.
• Systems include RedHat, Citrix, Blackberry, Project Server, Witness, TeaLeaf, Symantec A/V,
Ironport Spam Filter, Exchange clusters and file system clusters.
• Designed development, staging, and production environments to assist with change control.
• Created a Disaster Recovery plan for mission critical applications. Relocated datacenters with
minimal downtime. Failed over to these sites when needed. Also, evacuated during hurricanes on a moment’s notice to run critical systems from a remote location.
• Hardware consisted of HP Proliant Servers, Brocade Switches, SANs consisted of IBM Sharks,
Hitachi Disk Arrays and HP MSA 1000’s.



Uplink Data, Inc., Sr. Account Executive 09/02-02/03
• Representing various telecommunications carriers, while primarily selling AT&T Voice and Data
T-1s.

• Initially the heterogeneous network consisted of hubs, NT4, W2K, ISA Server and Lotus Notes. Migrated to a Cisco Catalyst 4003 and Windows 2000 Active Directory.
• Also responsible for wiring and cabling of Ethernet and NEC phone system.
• Coordinated a team effort to review and analyze the mission critical software. This resulted in determining that the current Wizard database was inadequate and that Microsoft ‘Great Plains’ software package would meet the business’ needs.
• Attended training for Microsoft ISA Server.

Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, Network Manager 4/01-9/01
• Responsible for the entire setup and configuration of an $11,000,000 network in the $450,000,000 Opryland Hotel & Convention Center.
• The network installation consisted of a Native Windows 2000 Active Directory Forest with fully redundant Cisco Switches, Routers, and Cisco Wireless Access Points on 18 separate VLANS.
• Setup and configured Dell Power Edge and Power App Servers hosting Windows 2K with IIS, SQL, Exchange, SMS, Veritas, and various other software applications. The desktops and laptops were also Dell computers.
• Cisco hardware included 6509s, 3500 series switches, PIX firewall, 3640 series routers and AP352 Wireless Access Points.
• Responsibilities encompassed setting up switches in the IDFs, installation and configuration of the servers and switches. Ghosting and deploying all computers to the new and existing staff members. Ensuring that all software applications were operating correctly and replicating with the local servers and Opryland Hotel Nashville.
• Performed site survey to determined where the Cisco WAPs would go throughout the hotel and convention center (total building area encompassed 2.2 million sq. ft.). Then began the installation and configuration of these WAPs as the building’s construction completed.
• Coordination of Vendors with their server applications and paging/communication devices such as Blackberry pagers.
• Attended training in Nashville from Cisco for this project.

iXL, Senior Consultant 4/00-2/01
• Hardware & software coordination for project engineers and developers for the Price Waterhouse Cooper Portal Project.
• Network Administrator of eCommerce Team in iXL. Setup, configured and managed IIS, SQL and various server shares for eCommerce team members.
• Strategically worked with Documentum Corp. to become a certified “Documentum Service Partner.” This negotiation included education on their products and an agreement for iXL to market Documentum as a value added Document Management Solution to our Clients.
