Director, Quality, Aerosol & Specialty Packaging (2006 to 2007)
Responsible for quality systems and programs at 7 manufacturing plants including process control, quality infrastructure and quality improvement. Operations included coil cutting, roller coating, lithography, component manufacturing, and assembly operations valued at over $500 million. Business units included aerosol, paint and general line and specialty container manufacturing.
• Established relationships at all levels, including senior management of each business unit.
• Directed plant quality and manufacturing personnel to improve quality levels and reduce non conformance costs.
• Participated in Lean manufacturing processes to enhance strategic projects.
• Worked with gauging and quality software partners to improve and enhance data collection systems.
Managing Director, Quality Assurance, U.S. Can* (1999 to 2006)
*U.S. Can was acquired by Ball Corporation in 2006.
Responsible for quality systems for 12 plants with a value of $750 million.
