Worked with a global Communications, Testing, and Design organization helping establish policies, procedures, guidelines, training, and direction for its Custom Border Protection Import/Export Compliance Program. Experience: • Worked with a $400M company to development standards, guidelines, and procedures that enabled the corporation to achieve and remain compliant with U. S. Customs Import regulations. Defined and enforced import and export direction within the organization. Acted as Customs Compliance Manager in his absence. • Defined the working relationship between CTDI and acted as company liaison to monitor, control, and direct the Import/Export activities of the following brokers: o FedEx (Express/Air/Ocean/Ground) o UPS (Ground/Package/Cargo/Canada) o F.C. Felhaber o DHL o Norma Garza • Developed automated tracking tools using MS Access and MS Excel to capture import entries, entry dates, HTS, Entry values, duties, MPF, broker¡¦s fees, comments, and a host of other information, etc. • Ran queries against CTDI¡¦s import database as part of my Broker Control Program. Held weekly meetings with all brokers to monitor our Post Entry Correction Process and reduce/eliminate corporate risk and fines because of Import/Export violations.
