Experience:
2003 – Present. Area Director, Bennigan’s Grill & Tavern, Louisiana and Tennessee. I am currently responsible for the overall operation of 7 restaurants with combined annual sales in excess of $15 million. I lead a management team of 26-30 and have over 450 team member’s total. 2001 – 2003. General Manager, Bennigan’s Grill & Tavern, Mall of Louisiana, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Overhauled restaurant, in all aspects, to become profitable and more efficient. Successfully achieved and maintained double-digit sales growth for three consecutive years and improved our store EBITDA to a consistent 10%. Created marketing strategy to increase sales and expand the clientele in the Baton Rouge area. Supervised managers and their duties. Developed and trained future and current managers to become general managers.
Career Highlights: Was a two-time award winner for General Manager of the Year for 2002 and 2003. Was also awarded Best in Show for both years due to showing outstanding results in: increasing guest counts, sales, and profits over prior year.






1998 – 2001. Senior Manager, Metairie, Louisiana. Duties included quality control of service throughout the restaurant, leading a team of 30 employees or more on a daily basis, bookkeeping (P & L, salaries, etc.). Consistently managed the business’s budget properly and effectively to insure the projected financial goals for each period were met with satisfaction, scheduled employees (managers, host, bartenders, servers, etc.) and ordered food, beverage, supplies, etc. Engineered a double-digit sales trend over a two-year span. Participated in a Metromedia Restaurant Group leadership conference (employee relations, employee counseling, employee development, guest relations, liquor management, security, etc.). Apprentice to the General Manager.

1997. Kitchen Manager, Birmingham, Alabama. Duties included all food ordering, menu implementation, scheduling of kitchen employees, hiring kitchen employees, inventory control and keeping food costs to less than 32% of revenue.

1996 - 1997. Key Employee, New Orleans, Louisiana. Duties consisted of all aspects of running a shift including: scheduling of employees, delivery supervision, completing food preparation sheet, ordering food and liquor, and training new employees.

1992 - 1996. Hourly Employee, New Orleans, Louisiana. Performed in every aspect of the
restaurant, ranging from dishwasher to bartender.
