Pine Manor / Miller Poultry, a $50M integrated poultry producer
Facilitated and led a company through re-organization of a 300 employee company that was fully operated by the founder and owner. In two and a half years the organization achieved a dynamitic level. During this same time I supervised three department managers and a support staff. The plant capacity was doubled during this time also.

VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER 1987 - 2004
Das Dutchman Essenhaus.
Established operational procedures and management systems during a rapid growth of the company. Grew the restaurant from 480 to 1,100 seat restaurant, increasing the size of the on-site bakery, add a catering business, and a went from 32 to 94 room hospitality sleeping inn, added four retail gift shops and a food retail manufacturing facility. I supervised eight department directors. Grew company from a small “mom and pop” to a large well respected $10M business that experienced double-digit annual growth.

VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMINISTRANTION AND RESOURCES 1978 - 1986
Mennonite Mission Board
Supervised the department of Finance, Human Resource, Church Relations, Support Services and Facilities. Reported to the Administration and Resource Committee of the 22 nation-wide Board of Directors. In-charge when President was out of the office.

PERSONNEL MANAGER 1971 - 1978
Sauder Woodworking Company
Designed and implemented initial HR structure into a non family business. Developed systems and wrote procedures. Established hiring and performance evaluation processes.
