Vice President, Business Development, SeraCare Life Sciences, West Bridgewater and Milford, MA (Mar 2006 – Aug 2007)
$55M global manufacturer and distributor to pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies (OTC: SRLSQ - delisted). Products include IVD controls, serlogical panels, bulk products used in bioprocess manufacturing and cell culture, and research and repository services for clinical trials. Company entered voluntary Chapter 11 eight days after being hired.
• Managed the Commercial Operations for the Bioprocessing Division inclusive of: Commercial Development, Direct Sales and Customer Service, Marketing, and New Product Development
• Full P&L responsibility of $15M distribution and manufacturing BioProcess division with $2M direct GS&A responsibility
• Lead the development of the commercial strategy for post-bankruptcy emergence and growth
