Jan Thoman started in the interior design field in 1998 training under Fernando Rafael Romero, owner of Custom Wall Finishes. Custom Wall Finishes has been in business for 20 years in Southern California working with exquisite design showrooms such as Aspire Furniture, Menage, and Don Janae Furniture, all located in Southern California. Ms. Thoman’s artistic talent and her abilities were toned and perfected under Mr. Romero’s knowledge of the business and expertise in the interior design field.
Since then Divine Design and Décor built a partnership by teaming up with Tekstra Interior Design (owner Susan Tekstra). DD&D has blossomed to include consulting of interior layout, supervision of entire home remodels and crews, furniture resale, color and fabric consulting, custom hand painted murals and stencils, faux painting, wall paper removal and installation, Venetian plastering, furniture and cabinetry refinishing, and cosmetic repair work.
Divine Design and Decor has worked for extraordinary clientele in Southern California such as home owners; Steven Hill (owner of Guy Hill Cadillac), The Towers (GM of the Padres), Mike Viscuso (Mastermind of the Viscuso Night Clubs and Restuarants in San Diego, LA, and Vegas), and many more. DD&D and Tekstra Interior Design are to be featured in a cover story in the near future in the popular design magazine San Diego Home and Garden.
