Operations Manager (1996 - 2005)

Administered all facets of operations (storing, moving and
tracking millions of dollars in inventory) with direct
oversight and performance responsibility for 4 supervisors,
2 sample associates, 2 maintenance employees, and 2 clerks;
scope of role included forecast and management of budgets
and performance quotas, loading/shipping activity report
generation and interpretation, communication with direct
reports and circulation of warehouse and grounds to address

growth from privately owned company to publicly traded firm

140,000 square-foot buildings to 1 350,000 square-foot
building bringing in initiative $285,000 under budget;
simultaneously maintained full production (never halting
shipping orders or using temporary staffing). Recipient of

* Reduced operating costs $200,000 over 2 years by
bringing in-house forklift, machine and HVAC maintenance
(requiring hire of new maintenance associate); solution
avoided required premium wages paid to vendors brought in
for multiple shifts. Progressively improved maintenance

upkeep facilities.

* Consistently improved operations by proactively
communicating with employees throughout facility as well as
continuously formulating and implementing new procedures;

forklifts from OKI.
