I am currently deployed with the Ohio Army National Guard in Washington D.C. working on Bolling AFB. I have been here for the past year and have been promoted twice since we have been here and three times in the past two years. I have a Secret security clearance with my job. My job is a 14J and training includes but is not limited to operation and operator preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) and corrective maintenance of the Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) C4I (command, control, communications and computer intelligence) systems (FAAD Engagement Operations, Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS), Communications and Sentinel Radar. Other subjects covered include: Methods of computing target locations, ammunition-handling techniques, gun, missile and rocket system operations, and artillery tactics. I work with computers everyday which includes typing, word processor, excel, and power point. My job has very stressful moments and have to make decisions on spot. I work very hard and have to stay very organized.
